A slider wears away as a whole. Count on roughly 2 to 3 minutes of total contact time per slider, in short runs of 4 seconds max. Indicative, based on our first test series; we keep measuring and will update the number. Stick to the 4-second rule: 4 seconds of contact max, then 5 seconds of cooldown.

No. There are no refills and no inserts. You replace a worn slider as a whole.

Four seconds of contact with the asphalt at most, then at least five seconds of cooldown. That keeps the base intact and gets you the most out of the slider.

Almost any leather suit or boot. You glue the base onto a clean, dry, degreased surface with superglue. The mount is permanent, so pick your position once, and pick it well.
